How we worked
My teacher
Written

I've been teaching Alexander since early 2025, and we've had more than 200 lessons together. We spend a lot of time talking about his work as a frontend engineer and preparing for interviews, so I've heard him explain his projects and the thinking behind them many times.

One thing I appreciate about Alexander is that he doesn't just want to memorize a good answer. He wants to understand the question and explain his thinking in his own words, even when the conversation goes somewhere he wasn't expecting. I've seen him put a lot of work into this, and he's become much more comfortable discussing technical ideas in English and answering follow-up questions.

He's talked me through his work with Vue.js, TypeScript, e-commerce products, and his image-editor and AI-related projects. He takes his work seriously, listens to feedback, and keeps working on things he finds difficult. I believe that willingness to keep learning and improve is worth mentioning.

Alexander is now looking for his next opportunity, and I'd genuinely like to see him find the right team. If you're hiring a frontend engineer, especially for work involving complex interfaces, SaaS, or e-commerce, I'd encourage you to look at his projects and speak with him. I believe he's worth a conversation, and I'd like to see him get that opportunity.
